What does he have that governs me?
A biological need to flee
An ever present uncertainty
He’s invisible to scrutiny
Yet my character is attacked
By those who wish I’d want them back
Their double-standard pile of crap
That guilts me with its overlap
And so their guns are aimed at me
For deciding to be free
I cannot slip by society
Who has placed man on its holy seat
For when the choice wasn’t mine
They told me it would just take time
Time again to be fine
Fine again but not mine
